StaticBoom Backup Privacy Policy

Purpose and access

StaticBoom Backup is a private backup process used only by its owner. It requests only the Google Drive drive.file permission so it can create and manage the backup repository files it creates, or files the owner explicitly makes available to it.

Use and storage of Google user data

Google Drive data is used only to create, verify, retain, restore, and remove owner-authorized StaticBoom backup repository objects. Backup content is encrypted before upload. Authorization credentials are protected and are not included in the backup repository.

Service-provider roles

Google Drive is the owner-selected storage provider and receives the encrypted backup repository objects. The static website host serves these public information pages only; it does not receive backup content, Google Drive file data, or OAuth credentials through this website. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or made available to other StaticBoom users.

Retention and control

Encrypted backup objects are retained according to the owner's backup retention policy. The owner can revoke the application's Google Account access at any time and can separately delete the app-created repository objects. Operational records are retained only as needed to verify backup and recovery.

Website data

This static website has no account system, forms, analytics, advertising, cookies, or client-side scripts. Like most web hosts, the hosting provider may create standard technical access or security logs, which can include an IP address, request time, requested page, browser user-agent, and diagnostic information. Those logs are controlled by the hosting provider under its own privacy and retention terms and do not contain backup content or Google Drive file data supplied by this website.

Use of information received from Google APIs is limited to the disclosed backup and recovery purpose and is intended to comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
